Cassie's first day

Cassie stood outside of her bunkhouse and looked around. Why did she send me here...? No one is going to like me. I'm so boring and plain... Cassie thought as she looked around. She picked up her luggage and walked inside.

jess was on her top bunk making a fire bird and monkey fight each other when she heard the door open so she looked up from her game "ello who are you"she asked the new girl looking curious

Cassie looked up at her and said shyly. "I Cassandra Benjamin... I'm new here..."

"well then welcome cassandra benjamin"jess said going back to her little fire game making the monkey rip the head off the bird and eat it "so what are you?"

Cassie set her stuff down on the bottom bunk and sat down. "I'm a full blooded vampire. &... You can call me Cassie."

"thats facinating cassie my named is jessica some call me pheonix and i am an angelpire meaning i am half angel half vampire"jess said tonelessly

Cassie shook her head in amazment. "That is very cool, Jessica." Cassie took out her stuff and started putting them in the empty drawers.

"so do you have any powers cass?"jess asked picking up one of her books

Cassie thought about it for a second and then she used telekinesis and made the book float into her hand and then she tore a tiny piece of the page off of the book and caught it on fire. "You used to live in heaven but then you got tired of it and esaped."

"HEY!!"jess snaped grabbing her book back"first off no one likes a show off two its nice to see another pyro and three yes i did that place was boring and no place for a half vampire"jess said light5ing cassies bed on fire

Cassie looked down at the floor and felt tears in her eyes. I blew it... On my first day... I am not meant for this world... Cassie thought as she headed toward the door. She reached the door and whispered, "Sorry, i wasn't thinking. I'll go now..."

jess put the fire out showing her bed was not harmed"hey get back here i was only kidding its like saying nobody likes a smart ass and then getting told that you must not have been very well liked "jess said instantly seeing that cassie had very low self esteam

She turned around and nodded. She wiped the tears out of her eyes and then wiped them on her jeans. "I wasn't trying to show off... I was just trying to show you my powers..."

"i however was trying to show off when i set your bed on fire yet left it compleatly unharmed i just didnt like having my book taken away thats all"jes said falling off her bed"oof"

Cassie laughed and them stopped. "are you ok?"

jess didnt hear here because she was too busy laughing at herself for being so clumsy"oh gd dont worry happens all the time then she climbed quickly up back into her bed"hey do you mind if i let my wings out for a bit?"

Cassie smiled and said, "Sure, that's no problem." She sat on her bed took out a her favorite purple pillow and put it on her bed.

jess slowly unfolded her wings and sighed "ooohhhh that feels good do you know how hard it is to keep 12and a half foot wings folded agains you back all day thats why i chose the bed in the center"

Misa smiled and nodded. "I understand. It must be a pain."

"yup"jess said playing with one of her wingtips"you can touch them if you want i dont bite....usually"jess said snickering to herself

Cassie smiled and touched her wing. "wow... there really soft.."

"naturaly its like birds wings soft but powerful ive been known to clock 240 in a nose dive"jess said absently

Misa's eyes went wide. "Thats crazy!"

"that my dear is fun my normal flight speed is 100- 150, 200 if im in a hurry"jess saidpicking up her book it was a maximum ride noval at it was pretty good

Misa smiled, "A vamp is very fast also. Especially the pure bloods like me."
